The soon to be Mrs A wanted to get engagement pictures done, especially since J may be shipped out before their planned wedding date. We met up downtown and had a great time, capturing some really sweet moments between the two of them. Thanks guy, for making this a fun shoot! I couldn't decide if I liked one better in color or black and white - I think they both look really good!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to make a quick post to let you guys knows about the changes that are coming!

I am going to be getting my website live and a new blog going - I should be able to cleanly and quickly transfer my blog entries over to the new blog address.

The new site address is www.photographybymelissar.com and the new blog will be www.photographybymelissar.wordpress.com - a direct link to the blog from the site will also be available.

I will make a new post when they are both made live. Thank you to all my loyal blog readers for your patience! It's been a long road getting to this point and I am happy to see the fruits of my labor finally ripening! Check back soon for an update!!

I have been so happy lately, being so busy and meeting so many amazing people around San Antonio and being able to do what I love - take photos!

I was fortunate enough to meet little Miss L and her wonderful parents this past week. What a wonderful family they are - the love they have for each other clearly shows. It was a pleasure meeting you all and I wish Miss L a very Happy 2nd Birthday next week!

I have an exciting new announcement! I now have my studio up and available for use! This will be perfect for all sessions that weather is not permitting us to be outdoors, perfect for newborns and other small babies, more intimate maternity sessions, or, if you just prefer a studio look!

I use natural light in my studio, and sessions booked for the studio can be in the morning or afternoon.

My studio set-up is portable and can be taken to your home for no additional fee!

Wow! What a fun session! A few other local photographer's and I got together and did a shoot with the kids. What fun it was to see all the kids playing and interaction - not to mention all of us trying to get smiles out of the kids. It was such a pleasure to meet up with others who share my passion and love for photography. I can't wait to do it again!

Welcome to my Blog. I am a wife, mother of two, and a photographer. In my blog, I will share "sneak peeks" and slide shows of client sessions here.

I hope to capture the moments we all treasure, the kisses from our children, tiny fingers and tinier toes, the look between lovers and the love between a family. I want to provide you with those moments in a format that memorializes them forever.

My focus is engagement, maternity, newborns, child and family photography.
